Salute is a multi-category beauty brand offering skincare, body care, and makeup. Our range is designed for everyday use, with formulas suited to a variety of skin types and concerns.
Our products are manufactured in Japan, China, and Canada, depending on the formula. We work with established manufacturing partners in each country who specialise in the relevant product category. The country of manufacture is printed on each product’s packaging.
Yes. All cosmetic products sold by Salute in Malaysia are notified with the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) in accordance with the Control of Drugs and Cosmetics Regulations 1984. The Notification of Cosmetic Product (NCP) number is printed on the packaging of each product.
Salute products are not currently halal certified by JAKIM. We are transparent about every ingredient used in our formulas, and full ingredient lists are available on each product page. If you have specific questions about a particular ingredient, please email us at hi@salute.my.
Yes. Salute does not test on animals, and we do not commission third parties to do so on our behalf. We work only with manufacturing partners who share this commitment.
We do not currently claim our products as vegan across the entire range. Some formulas may contain ingredients of animal origin (such as beeswax, lanolin, or carmine). Full ingredient lists are available on each product page so you can make an informed choice.
Many of our products are formulated with sensitive skin in mind, but everyone’s skin is different. We strongly recommend a patch test before using a new product on your face or body — see the next question.
If you have a specific skin condition (eczema, rosacea, severe sensitivity, or known ingredient allergies), please consult your dermatologist before introducing any new product into your routine.
Yes — we recommend a patch test for every new skincare, body care, or makeup product, especially if you have sensitive skin or known allergies.
How to patch test:
Most Salute products have a shelf life of 24 to 36 months unopened, depending on the formula. The exact expiry date or manufacturing date is printed on each product’s packaging.
Once opened, you should refer to the Period After Opening (PAO) symbol on the packaging — see the next question.
The PAO (Period After Opening) symbol is a small open-jar icon with a number inside it, such as “6M”, “12M”, or “24M”. This tells you how many months the product remains safe and effective after you first open it.
For example, “12M” means the product is best used within 12 months of opening. Make a habit of noting the date you open each product so you know when it should be replaced.

Payments on salute.my are processed securely through Curlec by Razorpay, a payment gateway licensed by Bank Negara Malaysia. We accept:
Your card and banking details are entered directly with Curlec and are never stored by Salute.
No, we do not currently offer Cash on Delivery. All orders are paid online at checkout through one of the methods listed above.
Prices shown on product pages are exclusive of Sales and Service Tax (SST). SST will be calculated and added at checkout, where applicable, before you confirm your order. You will always see the full order total (product price + SST + shipping) before payment.
Enter your code in the “Promo Code” or “Discount Code” field at checkout, then click “Apply”. The discount will be deducted from your order total before you confirm payment.
Only one discount code can be applied per order. Discount codes cannot be combined with other promotions unless specifically stated. If you have any trouble applying a code, please email hi@salute.my before completing your order.
If you need to change or cancel your order, please email hi@salute.my as soon as possible with your order number. If the order has not yet been picked or dispatched, we will do our best to accommodate the change. Once an order is dispatched, it can no longer be modified or cancelled — you may still return eligible items under our Shipping & Returns policy once received.

We ship to all addresses in West Malaysia (Peninsular Malaysia) and East Malaysia (Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan). We do not currently ship internationally.
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order, through our shipping partner EasyParcel. You will see the exact shipping fee before you confirm payment.
Orders placed before 5:00 PM (MYT) on a business day are processed within 1–2 business days. Once dispatched:

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number and a link to the courier’s tracking page. You can also track your order from your account by visiting “My Orders” on salute.my.
Not at the moment. We currently ship within Malaysia only. International shipping is something we hope to offer in the future — follow us on Instagram for updates.
If your order arrives damaged, wrong, or defective, we will replace it or refund you in full — at our cost. You must report the issue within 7 days of delivery.
For change of mind, we accept returns of sealed, unopened items within 7 days of delivery. Return shipping is at your cost in this case.

For hygiene and product-safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of cosmetic products that have been opened, used, or had their hygiene seal broken. This is standard practice across the cosmetics industry.
This restriction does not apply to items that are defective, damaged, or wrong — your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 are unaffected and we will always make those right.

We will review your claim within 3 business days and arrange a free replacement or full refund — at your preference, and at our cost (including any return shipping if needed).
Once a return is approved, refunds are issued by bank transfer to a Malaysian bank account in your name. We will ask you for your bank account details after approving your return.
Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days of approval. The exact arrival time in your account depends on your bank.

On the sign-in page, click “Forgot password?” and enter the email address linked to your account. We will email you a secure link to set a new password. The link is valid for 60 minutes.

We take your privacy seriously and comply with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (as amended in 2024). Your data is encrypted in transit, your password is stored as an irreversible hash, and your card details are handled exclusively by our PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway, Curlec.
